DAY 1: PUNTA ARENAS - PUERTO NATALES
Reception at the airport in Punta Arenas. Transfer through
Patagonian pampa to the small town of Puerto Natales. Visit to
the Magellan penguin colony at Seno de Otway (Otway Sound) (NOV
– MAR). Arrival and overnight in Puerto Natales. Regular service
(SIB) around 16:00 hrs and arrives at the hotel in Puerto
Natales around 22:00 hrs (time to be confirmed).
DAY 2: PUERTO NATALES –TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK
Trip to Torres del Paine National Park. Stopover at Monumento
Natural Cueva del Milodón (Cave of Milodon Natural Monument),
where the almost intact remains of a prehistoric animal named
Milodón may be seen. This is a type of huge sloth. The trip
continues to Cerro Castillo and the Argentine border. Visit to
Nordenskjold and Pehoé lakes, and Salto Grande del Río Paine
(Great Waterfall of Paine River). Overnight (B, Box Lunch )
DAY 3: TORRES DEL PAINENATIONAL PARK
Sailing across Lago Grey (Grey Lake) (if the weather is
favorable) getting close to the namesake glacier. Firstly, skirt
round the right side of the glacier, then slowly the center and
the left. A Scotch whisky or Pisco Sour with thousand-year-old
ice from the glacier will culminate this visit. Return to the
inn. In the afternoon you may select one of the optional
excursions offered by your Inn. (B)
DAY 4: TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK – PUNTA ARENAS
Transfer via Puerto Natales back to the airport in Punta Arenas.
