DAY 1: SANTIAGO DE CHILE
Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, city tour of downtown Santiago and its main landmarks. At Plaza de Armas (Main Square), a visit to the impressive Metropolitan Cathedral, and a review to its valuable history and religious icons which have transformed this place in a sort of museum of the Catholic faith. A visit to Plaza de la Constitución and “La Moneda” (The Government Palace) currently open to visits. Finally, a tour of Providencia, the new center of the city and other residential areas such as Las Condes and Vitacura. Return to the hotel.


DAY 2: VALPARAÍSO AND VIÑA DEL MAR
On a trip to the coast, you will go over the agricultural valleys of Curacaví and Casablanca, a zone specially dedicated to the wine industry. Then, arrival in Valparaíso, main sea port in Chile. A visit to the downtown area and the typical lookouts in the neighborhoods allows the visitor to get to know the local idiosyncrasy. At the same time, going to the north along the coast you will know Viña del Mar, a famous seaside city-resort which is the place to go for the youth in summer, which parks with huge trees and palm trees are the reason for its term: “The Garden City”. Return to Santiago in the evening. Overnight at the hotel. (B)

DAY 3: MAIPO VALLEY VINEYARDS
Visit to two of the most renowned vineyards located on this fertile valley in the center of Chile. Considered as one of the most traditional and prestigious winemaking zones in the country, it is possible here to sense the outstanding development of Chilean wine industry. Many vineyards of prestigious brands are based here and you may be introduced, at any of them, to a brief semblance about winemaking, its technology and have an exquisite tasting of its best vines. The mainly grown stocks are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Carmenere. In the evening, return to the hotel in Santiago. Overnight. (B)
