This excursion departs from your hotel and starts crossing beautiful natural landscapes of the Central Valley, including ancient pine and eucalyptus tree forests and reaching the Santo Domingo Seaside resort, a charming small village along the Pacific Ocean with its most beautiful houses and well kept gardens. The tour proceeds along the coast and the Port of San Antonio, a picturesque bustling port, showing its colorful market. The road runs through sheltered beaches towards the peaceful Isla Negra, a small summer resort housing the world famous Pablo Neruda House and Museum, which stands facing the sea. (Literature Noble Prize , 1971). The poet"s genius will be unfolded by admiring his beautiful vessel figure-heads, surprising miniatures, multicolored bottles, fine glassware, his unique collection of marine shells, and his manuscripts.
