Day 1: Santiago
Reception at the airport and transfer to NH Santiago Hotel
or similar. Overnight.
Day 2: Santiago
City Tour of Santiago including: the “Civic Headquarters”
in the downtown area, the historical “La Moneda”,
the Presidential Palace, the main square and Santiago’s
cathedral. A colorful display of flowers, fruits and
fish is showed at the Central Market. Rest of the day
is at leisure. Overnight (B)
Day 3: Santiago - Viña del
Mar
Full day excursion to Valparaíso and Viña
del Mar. The excursion includes comprehensive visists
to the most important and historical sites of Valparaiso,
Chile’s main port and the traditional Viña
del Mar, Chile’s number one beach and summer city.

Day 4: Viña del Mar
Free day. Suggestions: Depending on the season, for
summer, a sunny day at “Reñaca Beach”
one of the fashionable spots in Viña del Mar
while for winter an optional excursion to the northern
beaches of Zapallar and Cachagua. For the evening, a
visit to the international Casino is also recommended.
Overnight at the NH Santiago Hotel or similar. (B).
Day 5: Viña del Mar - Santiago
Transfer to airport on time to board the departure flight
to Lima (airfare not included). Upon arrival transfer
to Boulevard Hotel or similar. Depending on the arrival
time of your international flight we may have the opportunity
to visit the Peruvian Gold Museum (not included in the
rate). (B)
Day 6: LIMA / CUSCO
Pick up and transfer to the Lima airport for the flight
to Cusco (airfare included). Upon arrival, you will
be met and driven to Picoaga Hotel or similar, followed
by a few cups of mate de coca, whilst you iron out any
questions you may have with us.
At 1:45 pm Cusco city tour. This tour includes the major
sites of historical interest in Cusco, including the
ruins of Sacsahuaman, Kenko and Tambomachay and the
temple of the Sun. Also included in this is a tourist
card, giving you access to all the sites in the Cusco
area as a whole (i.e., including outside of the City
itself). This tour finishes at 18:00 hrs. Overnight.

Day 7: PISAC & OLLANTAYTAMBO
At 8:45 a.m. we will depart for the Sacred Valley tour,
that includes: Bus service to the market of Pisaq, visits
to Calca, Urubamba, the ruins of Ollantaytambo, and
the market at Chinchero. There is an English speaking
guide, and lunch in a typical restaurant in Urubamba.
Of course, throughout
this trip you will have magnificent views of the high
Peruvian Andes. Return to Cusco and overnight at Picoaga
Hotel or
similar in Cusco. (B,L )

THE TEMPERATURE
The highest temperature is 25ºC and the lowest
temperature is 5ºC. The coldest month is June and
down to -5ºC.
Day 8: INCA TRAIL HIKE UP TO MACHU
PICCHU (MONDAY)
Pick up at your Hotel .We start our trek escorted by
native “quechua” porters going through semi-arid
terrain along the Urubamba river with magnificent views
of snow capped mount Veronica, later going through Llactapata,
an ancient Inca citadel that protected the entry to
two valleys. (B+L+D)
Day 9: INCA TRAIL (TUESDAY)
Today the first part of the trek takes us to the Inca
Hamlet of Huayabamba, later going through Warmiwañuska
pass (4200 mt), known as “dead woman’s pass”.

Day 10: INCA TRAIL (WEDNESDAY)
walking on a remarkably preserved Inca Trail passing
ancient archaeological sites covered by dense jungle
overgrowth , later visiting the Phuyupatamarca (city
above clouds) with spectacular view of snow covered
Andean ranges, camping at Wyñaywayna, probably
the most spectacular archaeological complex during the
trek. (B+L+D)
Day 11: INCA TRAIL (THURSDAY)
Passing through the Intipunku (Gate of the Sun), we
arrive to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas.
Complete guided tour, then late in the afternoon train
back to Cusco. Overnight at Picoaga Hotel or similar.
